Anything Goes is “the Bay Area’s best costume gala,” where guests are welcomed into the extensive TheatreWorks costume collection to select their attire for the party. Amidst a theatrical tapestry of props, lights, and stage pieces, the festive evening includes a cocktail reception, gourmet three-course dinner, auction, live entertainment, and the chance to dance the night away!

The honorees of this year’s party will be the Sobrato Family and Sobrato Philanthropies. We are indebted to the Sobrato organization for their support and applaud their widespread philanthropic efforts. For more than 50 years, John A. and his wife Susan have shared their business success with the Valley, raising their three children—John Michael Sobrato, Lisa Sobrato Sonsini and Sheri Sobrato Brisson to engage deeply in community concerns. This multi-generational legacy of philanthropy was formalized by Lisa in 1996 with the establishment of Sobrato Philanthropies, a private family foundation committed to sustaining the philanthropic legacy of the Sobrato family. Sobrato Philanthropies has made contributions to local agencies totaling more than $314.5M.
With the countdown on to this year’s Anything Goes bash on October 17th, let’s take a look back at some of our favorite memories through the years:
